SIMONE TRICHOLOGY by Trichomedic Labs S.L. is dedicated to expert care of the hair and scalp through science-led trichology. Since 1989, our focus has been on developing targeted cosmetic treatments that support healthier-looking, fuller and denser hair, while helping to maintain a scalp that feels comfortable and balanced.

Our work brings together research, formulation and training so that hair professionals around the world can access advanced protocols for hair loss, dandruff, seborrhoeic imbalance, sensitivity and fibre damage.

Our origins and research focus

Our research into hair and scalp concerns began in 1989, with a clear objective: to approach hair and scalp care using advanced selection and delivery technologies rather than purely cosmetic surface care. At that time, people with fine, thinning hair or visible hair loss had limited cosmetic support options.

Trichomedic Labs S.L. was created to address this gap, developing trichology-focused formulas that work along the scalp–hair axis and are designed for real-world use in clinics, salons and specialist centres.

Innovation at Trichomedic Labs

Science-led trichology hair treatments and scalp technologies

Innovation is part of our core mandate. Our philosophy is to create genuine, original formulas—not imitations. Instead of following market trends, we focus on new trichology technologies and integrate the latest clinical and cosmetic research into each development cycle.

Every SIMONE TRICHOLOGY product is designed from the ground up: from the choice of actives and delivery systems to texture, tolerance and protocol integration. This approach has generated multiple proprietary technologies that have helped to redefine how cosmetic trichology is practised in many centres worldwide.

Advanced delivery systems and microcapsule technology

Traditional liposome-based systems, widely used in cosmetics and even in certain pharmaceutical contexts, often suffer from instability and limited payload concentration. Our work at Trichomedic Labs led to the development of highly stable organic microcapsules designed to improve the way active ingredients are delivered to the scalp surface.

These microcapsules are designed to:

  • remain stable at room temperature
  • resist oxidation within appropriate usage conditions
  • be compatible with a wide pH range
  • hold a very high number of particles per unit volume, allowing higher loading of encapsulated actives

As the microcapsules interact with the skin surface, they are gradually broken down by skin enzymes, releasing their contents in a controlled way. Combined with carefully selected actives of natural and biotechnological origin, this delivery architecture underpins many of our hair and scalp protocols.

Why we are different

Our difference does not lie in marketing concepts but in how each formula is conceived and validated:

  • Genuine product development: we avoid “me-too” products and instead develop original concepts from scratch.
  • Research-driven mindset: our formulations integrate findings from trichology research, cosmetic science and advanced delivery technologies.
  • Performance-oriented philosophy: our focus is on how products perform in real protocols in clinics and hair centres, under the guidance of professionals.
  • Global collaboration: despite being a specialised laboratory, our technologies have attracted collaboration with larger international companies, and our products are used in hair centres and VIP salons in Europe, Russia, Asia and the United States.

Trichology hair treatments for diverse scalp and hair concerns

Our lines are designed to support a wide range of cosmetic scalp and hair concerns:

  • hair thinning and loss of density
  • visible dandruff and scalp flaking
  • seborrhoeic and oily scalp tendencies
  • dryness, structural fibre damage and loss of elasticity

Formulas are built to integrate into structured protocols that may combine shampoos, conditioners, masks and leave-in scalp treatments, according to the professional’s recommendation and the user’s needs.

Our working method and professional training

Our method extends beyond product development. Inside and outside Spain, distributors and professional partners are trained in advanced trichology protocols:

  • Initial collaboration often begins with a focused product range adapted to the local market.
  • Our technical team provides in-depth training in advanced trichology, hair and scalp concerns, and protocol design.
  • Commercial and technical teams are equipped to discuss scalp and hair dysfunctions and to recommend structured cosmetic protocols.

This emphasis on education ensures that SIMONE TRICHOLOGY products are used as part of coherent, evidence-informed routines rather than as isolated items on a shelf.

Global presence

Over the years, SIMONE TRICHOLOGY has expanded from its origins in Spain to a presence in Europe, Russia, Asia and the United States, where our technologies are integrated into professional trichology practices and clinical service models.

Our formulations are used in hair centres and specialised salons, where correct diagnosis and application are key to achieving the best cosmetic outcomes for scalp and hair.

Our commitment going forward

Our commitment is to continue advancing trichology as a discipline within cosmetic science:

  • investing in research and development at Trichomedic Labs
  • refining delivery systems and active combinations
  • supporting professionals through education and protocol design
  • maintaining rigorous quality standards in formulation and manufacturing

The objective is simple: to provide hair and scalp professionals—and their clients—with reliable, science-led trichology hair treatments that respect the scalp, support the hair fibre and fit into real-world routines.
