What is the best treatment for damaged hair?
A routine, rather than a single product: a moisturising shampoo (Nutri Fiber Moisturizing Shampoo Plus), a deep-repair conditioner (Triple Action Conditioner Deep Repair Plus) and a leave-in keratin treatment (Keratin DNA Therapy Plus) on the lengths and ends. The three work on moisture, surface and structure of the fibre.
Can I use these products on coloured or bleached hair?
Yes. They are formulated for hair that has been coloured, bleached or straightened. Hair Loss & Colors Shampoo Plus is the cleanser designed specifically for coloured hair; Keratin DNA Therapy Plus is the leave-in treatment we recommend after colour or bleach.
How often should I use the conditioner and the keratin treatment?
The conditioner at every wash, from mid-length to the ends. The keratin treatment after washing, on damp lengths and ends, two or three times a week for very damaged hair and once a week as maintenance. Keep both away from the roots if your scalp tends to be oily.
Will these products weigh fine hair down?
No, as long as you apply the conditioner and the treatment from mid-length to the ends only. For fine hair that lacks body, Volume Therapy Shampoo Plus is the cleanser to combine with them.
Does repair care help with hair loss?
This family cares for the fibre — the length of the hair — and helps reduce breakage, which is one of the reasons hair can look thinner. Shedding from the root is a different matter: look at the hair-loss family, or ask the Hair Clinic for a free review of your case.
